Carroll also posted a series of pictures that showed the couple enjoying life on holiday with the message "lucky man." Yet he's not been so lucky on the pitch since moving back to England and joining Dagenham and Redbridge. Carroll suffered a thrashing on his first appearance for his new club and met the same fate last time out when he made his competitive debut in a 5-2 defeat to Worthing in the National League South.
