Digimon Story Time Stranger Digifarm Guide

The Digifarm is a special area in Digimon Story Time Stranger that can be accessed via the In-Between Theater. While it is not mandatory that players spend time at the Digifarm, there are some reasons to do so. This guide is here to provide information about those reasons, and it will help players make the most of their Digifarms in Digimon Story Time Stranger.

To visit the Digifarm, speak with Mirei Mikagura, the woman with purple hair at the In-Between Theater’s information desk. Players will visit the In-Between Theater as part of the main story, and they will find doors that can be used to enter it as they explore.

How the Digifarm Works in Digimon Story Time Stranger

Fill the Digifarm with Digimon

During a visit to the Digifarm, Time Stranger players can use the Move Digimon feature to transfer Digimon that they have on hand to the farm. Battle Members, Reserve Members, and Digimon that are in box can all be easily moved simply by selecting them and confirming the transfer, and there is one big reason to fill the farm: Digimon that are kept there accumulate materials that players will find useful during their playthroughs. Indeed, players who move Digimon to the Digifarm will receive items upon repeat visits to the area, and it is wise to transfer any Digimon that are not needed in battle in order to maximize those rewards.

Digimon at the Digifarm will earn EXP as if they were in a player’s box, allowing them to level up while they collect materials.

Improve Digimon at the Digifarm

Players can improve the Digimon that they have moved to the Digifarm by training and feeding them. Both of those actions can be accessed by selecting Interact with Digimon in Farm and then picking the Digimon that is of interest, and here is more information about what they do:

  • Training: As players progress through the game, they will find, and have the opportunity to purchase, training items. These items boost a stat and also shift the Digimon’s personality toward indicated types. These items provide avenues for changing a Digimon’s personality in Digimon Story Time Stranger, allowing players to optimize their stat growth.

When hovering over a training item, press the Check Personality input and look at the yellow arrows that appear on the personality table. A large arrow indicates that the item will initiate a large shift in that direction, while a small arrow indicates a small shift. It is also worth noting that players can use Yen to immediately complete a training session by choosing the Quick Complete Training option, and they can also have a Digimon repeat a completed training session by responding to a message that will come to their Digivice.

  • Feeding: Players can feed various food items to their Digimon in order to increase their Bond percentages. For the uninitiated, Bond determines the number of times a Digimon can inherit a cumulative stat when digivolving and de-digivolving, which means that players must reach 100% Bond if they want to maximize a Digimon’s stats.

After feeding a Digimon, an icon will appear next to it. A heart icon indicates that the Digimon loves the type of food that it was fed, and they will earn maximum Bond growth from that type.

Customize the Digifarm

Players can use the Place Island, Place Item, and Edit Mode options to customize the appearance of their Digifarms. While there is no gameplay benefit associated with pursuing this type of customization, players who enjoy decorating may still find it worthwhile.
