United already have 10 players sidelined, including the likes of Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, and Scott McTominay, with a particular deficiency at centre-back.

United will still be widely expected to beat their opponents at Wembley, given that Coventry are a Championship club, but their injury issues pose a significant headache for Erik ten Hag. Romano has reported that such is the dearth of defensive options, Casemiro could partner Harry Maguire at centre-back.
