There’s just something different about the hype that builds around upcoming gacha games. We’re already inundated with great games in the genre, from Wuthering Waves to the recently-popular Destiny: Rising. And yet the masses fiend for more gacha. Arknights: Endfield is no different — it’s probably one of the most anticipated gacha games, and it’s apparently just on the horizon.
In a listing for the iPhone Air on the official Apple website, the terms and conditions momentarily listed Arknights: Endfield as arriving in “early 2026.” That entry has now been removed, but the damage was already done. We won’t be getting Endfield in 2025.
iPhone Air Website Announces Arknights: Endfield Rough Release Date By Accident
The advert for the upcoming iPhone included details about its powerful processor and its ability to handle modern mobile games. Arknights: Endfield was used as an example, probably due to some brand deal.
Originally, the website listed Arknights: Endfield as arriving in “early 2026,” but the listing has now been removed, and instead replaced with a more general disclaimer: “Arknights: Endfield coming to iOS, release date subject to change. See developer website for current release information.”
This info was posted on the Endfield subreddit by user Aloysha223, but others have later confirmed that it is now missing from the page.
However, when you check out the Arknights: Endfield website, there’s still no information about when the game will be released. In fact, the last news post on the site was in February 2025. There has been very little communication from developer Hypergryph following closed beta tests at the beginning of the year.
However, in our Gamescom preview, everything seemed to be going pretty well for Arknights: Endfield. The studio had a sizable booth on the showfloor, and our man on the ground, Jack Coleman, enjoyed his time with the game.
Speculation is now rife in the community that we might see more closed tests, or even an open beta, before the end of 2025, before a potential release in the first quarter of 2026. Somewhere between January and May is looking more and more likely.
There’s some hot gacha competition coming up, with the release of Duet Night Abyss in November (although, can this even be called a gacha game anymore?), and a potential Neverness To Everness release at the end of the year as well. Hopefully, we’ll hear some more concrete news about Arknights: Endfield in the next couple of months.
